I’m Melanie! I am the owner/designer/developer at TNG Web Design, a local web design business in Barrie, Ontario. I started this business because I love being digitally creative and I wanted to find a way to share that love with others.
Growing up I spent time helping my dad build and repair computers. As I got older I continued to explore my love of computers through classes in coding/programming, computer engineering, computer maintenance, etc. My love of computers has only grown over the years.
I have always enjoyed being creative, from writing poetry and stories to creating newsletters, invitations & databases. I’ve also made personalized home movies for friends and family and music videos for my kids. Any reason to be on the computer and create something. 🙂
I am a mother of 2, a girl aged 14 and a boy aged 12. I left my last job to stay home with my kids. I volunteer at their school. I was a leader of a youth group for 6 years. As my kids have become a little older and spend a little more time with their friends and a little less with me, I have decided it was time to get back to some of the things I love.
You will find that I have used many different elements throughout my website. I have done this to showcase some of the features available. More demo content can be found on our demo page.

The Process

We'll set up a time and place to meet, either in person or via electronic means, to go over your free in-depth consultation.
After having discussed your dream vision for your website and after having received the content you wanted to provide, TNG Web Design will get to work on designing your presence online.
We will keep in contact throughout the design process to make sure we continue to head in the right direction (we can continue to modify any content you sent if they don't seem to be working out as you had hoped).
After we have completed your website we will run all the proper tests to make sure everything is up and running smoothly.
When we are sure everything is good to go, we will have you go through it one last time to make sure everything is as you want it to be.
As soon as you have confirmed the site is what you had hoped it would be, we will set it live to the world.
If you would like to maintain the site yourself (for a fee) we can spend some time teaching you how.
If you would like us to maintain the site (for a fee) we will do the background work to keep it up and running properly. Included in the price, we will continue to manage the content on your site (adding new photos to your gallery, uploading your newest blog, changing this weeks specials, etc).
