The hosting service we use is fast, reliable and uses secure servers.  You can expect to be up and running over 99% of the time.   If you have somewhere else you would like to have your site hosted, you will not be charged for hosting as you will be in charge of the hosting yourself.  You will have to upload and configure your website on your hosting service.  We will provide you the necessary code required.

Software is required to program and run your website. The software may require upgrades at some point.  It isn't generally a significant cost-10%-25% of the initial software cost.  If you have special requirements that are not normally provided they will be priced accordingly before any agreement is signed.

First we will go through the process of figuring out how you want your website to look.  Once this process is done, we will then develop (program) your website.  The website we will create for you will work across all platforms such as computers, tablets and phones.  It will be responsive and run smoothly and effortlessly. 

Responsive websites are more complex then strictly desktop-only sites since they have to run smoothly and look amazing across different devices.  We make sure that it is as impressive on a phone as it is on a desktop.

We will build in SEO (search engine optimization) so that people can find you when they search the web (Google).

If you are in need of an online store, we charge a separate price for that service because of the work involved in creating it and having it run as smoothly, efficiently and effectively as it should.

The price will depend on how many pages you'd like and how complex your website is.  We charge a flat rate to set up the site.  After the initial set up we charge in 10 page increments for the first 10 and 20 page sites, after that we charge by the page.

In order to keep your site running smoothly, there are things that need to be done, for example updating software, troubleshooting and debugging, protecting you from getting spam, site security, backing up your data, etc – basically everything that is required to make sure your site functions properly without your intervention or worry.  Depending on complexity, we typically spend from 5 – 8 hours a month keeping a website maintained.

If you decide to do this on your own then of course there is no cost.  However, if you need to be trained to do this and wish us to provide that training, we charge by the hour.

Content management is included if you have paid for us to maintain your site.  This includes updating information on your site like sales this week, photos in a gallery, articles, etc. (For larger changes like layout, etc. please see Website Redesign for pricing. For projects that might require above average redesigns and content management a special fee can be discussed.)

If you own a store and pay for us to maintain it, adding/updating items after the launch of the website is included.

If you have not chosen to have us maintain your site, we charge by the hour.

If you would like an domain-based email account that is specific to just your company (i.e. info@tngwebdesign.ca), we offer those services for your website as well.  It is guaranteed to up 99.9% of the time, has an Outlook web application and has world-class data-security and spam filtering.

There are a 3 different SSL Certificate types and all vary in price and what they offer or should be used for.  Generally a Standard Domain Validation SSL (DV) Certificate is all that is required for proper data encryption. All SSL Certificates  provide domain ownership, boosts Google ranking and have SHA-2 and 2048-bit encryption.  They show visitors a padlock in the address bar in the browser proving your site is secure from prying eyes and that their information and what they enter is private.
